Fast Forward

O.k. here is the quick update of the last however many weeks.

This is Ella and her corn plant. If you remember back in May Ella wanted to plant some seeds. Well my Mom had the great idea of giving her popcorn seeds from a microwave bag. We never thought it would grow anything. Well here it is. She was so proud of it.

Next we went to Enchanted forest water safari for the day. She had a good time on the rides and the water slides.

Then it was mine and Luke's birthday. We had a great one this year. We got each other a new digital camera. That is why it has taken me so long to get an update done. We did not know how to download the pictures.

Ella started dance lessons this fall. She is very excited about them. This was her first day.

Ella was invited to a pony riding party. She was a little nervous, but she did fine. She had a great time being with all of the kids.

Then it was time for the first day of school. She is going five half day a week.

Then it was on the Ella's birthday marathon. On the 18th she had cupcakes with the day care kids, then on the 19th she had a doctors appointment. She left there with presents. Then on the 20th she had a party with my family, the 21st was with Luke's Mom and Dad and then the 22nd was at school. So here are some of the highlights.
The cake.
Seeing the cake.
The presents.

On the 20th with my family we had Ella's party after we did a walk for Lung Cancer. Thank you to all who sponsored us.

Ella with the cake outside of the house.

Then Grandma Mary and Grandpa Phil.

This is Ella finding out that she is going to Disney World. And that concludes the update. Sorry it has been so long. Stayed tuned to the updates when we get back they should be pretty cool. As Ella has said it is freakin' me out about this trip. We leave tomorrow morning.

This is a good one

I know I have some major catching up to do, but that is not happening today.
So Ella, Riley (a daycare friend), and I are walking out of school. Ella has a dress on today. We are walking along and Ella stops and drops everything and starts to pull her dress up. I tell her no and she says that she has to fix her underwear. I explain to her that she has to wait until we get to the car. So down the sidewalk, across the street, and through the parking lot we go. Half way through the parking lot she says oh no now everyone can see my underwear. I look down and she is shuffling through the parking lot with her underwear around her ankles. OH MY GOSH!!!! So I drop everything and pull her underwear up. The cars all have to stop for us because we are right in the middle. The three of us are laughing so hard. My stomach muscles still hurt. For those of you who know what a Cammie is well I almost turned into one. So there is a little story to hold you over. I promise the many many many updates are coming.

Fun in the sunflowers

Last week I took Ella to a sunflower maze. She really enjoyed it. We went with our friends Joanne and Ryan. Ella and Ryan spent the whole maze having a race and trying to be first. The sunflowers were awesome.

This week we will be heading to Enchanted Forest in Old Forge on Friday. Saturday we celebrate my birthday, Luke's birthday, and my Mom's birthday. Then on Sunday Luke and I will celebrated our real birthday with Ella. Just in case I do not get a chance to post again before or on our birthday.
Luke there is no one else in the world I would want to share my birthday with. I am so lucky to have you. I hope all of your birthday wishes come true. I love you.
O.k. enough mushy stuff. Then next week Ella will get to see where she will be taking dance. She is so excited. She will be have tap and ballet lessons. It should be fun.

Conversations with Ella

Last night Ella decided she wanted to cook dinner for all of us. She called all of her guests, Grandpa, Grandma Mary, and Grandma Fran. Then she made the menu english muffin pizzas, corn on the cob, and chocolate pudding pie. Then the grocery list, and shopping. She made all the food and I helped with the hot part. Here is a picture of her husking the corn. I love the determined face. Then while eating dinner Luke noticed that she had a scrape on the her nose. We asked her where she got it.
I put a towel over my head because I did not want to hear them at swim.
Who?
The kids and the teachers.
Were they saying something you did not like or where they too loud.
They were too loud.
Oh, but how does this deal with the scratch.
I walked into the trophy case with the towel on my head.
Luke and I laugh uncontrollably and then explain that next time she may just want to put her hands over her ears.

Then she is getting a little summer cold and was not feeling well last night. She was trying to find a reason for her getting sick and we told her that there was not a reason people just sometimes get sick. I said like Daddy did a while ago we do not know why, but he just got sick. So then she says. You guys should give me breakfast in your bed tomorrow like Daddy did when he was sick. I am telling you this kid has an angle for everything.

Well Well Well.....

So the kitty did not get any better. In fact she has worms. Lucky us. Well she could not be around the kids and so we bought her a cage and it was too small and then we bought a cage big enough for a lab that did the trick. However she was not happy in that. So in comes my Mom to the rescue again. God Bless her. She came yesterday and took Princess home with her for awhile. Ella was very sad that she is gone, but understands that she needs to go to get better. I am just glad the poop has stopped. I love her dearly and I cried just as much as Ella when she left, but I HATE POOP.

Now on to the update from the last couple of weeks.

Last week was princess and pirate week at camp. She had great time. Here she is with all of her stuff she made. Princess hat and tresure map in a bottle.

Then it was off to Grandma's to get the car fixed. So far so good. The car seems to be all fixed, but I am not holding my breath. Also it was Aunt Juju's birthday. Ella loves being at my mom's. Here are few pictures of her having a blast.

We started off using a sprinkler and yes she is getting her bum wet.
Then we moved on to the redneck swimming pool. She was just as happy as a clam in there.

Then she wanted to play milk the cow again but Grandma wouldn't play. I think it had something to do with the fact that there was a camera this time. So she milked a chair instead.

Then it was time to decorate the cake for Aunt Juju's birthday. Ella loves frosting.
Then that night Ella watched the 3-D Hannah Montana concert. As only Ella can.
The next day was the birthday. Ella had to get all dressed up for it.

Presents and cake.

Ella loves her Aunt Juju and she got to help her open her gifts.

The only way to eat cake. I have taught her all I know.

This week came has been about cooking. So far they have made trail mix, muffins, english muffin pizzas, and biscuits. This is the last week that she will be at camp. Then it will be a little down time this weekend. I can only hope.

The past two weeks at camp I have found out that last year at school Ella was suppose to be learning how to dress and undress herself for swim lessons. We work on it here at home. So she did it for the last two weeks. Well at the end of the princess week I went to pick her up and she was not in the clothes I had taken her in she was in her extra outfit and this is how it looked. This is after playing at my Mom's, but the orientation of the clothing was how she came home form school. The droopy wet part is from Grandma's.
Her shirt was inside out and backwards. Looks like I have some work to do before school starts in September.

POOP POOP POOP

I feel like my life revolves around poop. With Ella's issues, and the daycare there is a lot of it, but this morning I woke up to the kitten having diarrhea. It was like a hose with a sprinkler had gone off. She had it every where. I had both of my daycare boys coming and Ella had to be at her second week of camp. It was a nuts oh morning. Luke stayed home from work this morning to help with the clean up and Princess is in her box for the day until she sees the vet tonight. I will have a happy update later all about last week and this past weekend, just wanted the let every body know about my new job title.

Fecal Specialist.
No I do not do consults.
